summer '13

Bonjour blog readers, and my apologies it's been a while. I have no excuse. But, it's a Friday morning in an overcast, but not rainy (thank god! Finally!) Glasgow, and about time for an update.

After a very busy and exciting spring, the summer season has been a little quieter, as it often is, business-wise. Which does mean there's been a bit more time for going on holiday (Italy), playing at being a toymaker, barbecuing, and eating delicious food. Though I always make time for that.

That's not to say there's been nothing happening here at F&F. There's been updates to the

website

, so if you've not checked that out yet, DO IT! Amongst the recent projects I've completed, there's also the

Falkirk Wheel model kit

available to buy, your very own miniature of the engineering marvel.

I've been helping out Another Studio with their new model for Sir John Soane's Museum, a metal model, which lifts apart to give a glimpse inside. Really pretty cool, if I may say myself. I can't wait to see the finished model. I've also been working on a collaboration with another Glasgow-based creative business, which is coming on swimmingly, and can't wait to show off our results!

And then, what about this?!

Yep, that's a display of my work at the Kelvingrove Museum, overlooking the main hall (and just next to the Dali). Nice!

Don't forget, you can keep up to date with everything at F&F by following on

Facebook

,

Twitter

, and I occasionally post photos on

Instagram

too!
